The PASGT is a helmet that can stop handgun rounds and offer reliable protection against shrapnel and falling debris. These helmets also feature a lip by the ear to accommodate headsets and other communications devices. The PASGT NIJ Level IIIA Ballistic Helmet has become the standard for Military, Law Enforcement, and Security Personnel.
The PASGT Ballistic Helmet shell is pressed with DuPont™ Kevlar®. The Helmet offers significant weight savings, with the helmet weighing in at 2.60 – 3.3 lbs. These helmets have been tested to NIJ 0101.06 at a certified NIJ testing facility (test reports available). This helmet is rated to stop .357 Magnum, 9mm FMJ and all lesser threats.
