NIJ LEVEL III STAND ALONE (SA) TRIPLE CURVE RIFLE PLATE

Description

SPI Armor Solutions Polyethylene Hard Armor Rifle Plates are manufactured using high-performance, high-density polyethylene, resulting in a lightweight, durable hard armor rifle plate ideal for maritime, rugged transport, and extended duty operations.  These rifle plates are designed to achieve NIJ Level III protection and the incorporation of the Silicon Carbide composite makes these a multi-hit “Stand Alone” plate.   These Stand Alone (SA) plates are designed and tested to defeat ballistic threats using the plate only.  No ballistic vest is required, as all the ballistic energy and fragments are stopped in the plate.

These plates have been tested to NIJ 0101.06 at a certified NIJ testing facility (test reports available). This plate is rated to stop 7.62x51mm M80 FMJ/NATO Ball, 7.62x39mm AK47 LC/MSC, 5.56x45mm M193 LC/ SS109 and all lesser threats.
